Brianna wu, a game developer who forcibly introduced herself into the gamergate disscusion by making false claims of systematic harrassment, managed to get Patreon to change their policies in a way that the SJW can abuse the system to try to ban gamergaters (much like the twitter tool), and even managed to get Hootwheels, the creator of 8chan, banned temporarily.
But she didn’t realized that the same new policies affect the SJW too…
Not that Patreon will enforce their guidelines AGAINST the social justice brigade. Just anyone that doesn’t toe the line.
The sarkeesian effect creators had a similar problem and they talked to the patreon founder, aparently he’s actually a comprehensive man and for freedom of speech, but he probably has so much pressure that he had to comply eventually.
