Chapter: Gamergate life (english)
After falling in banckrupcy, Gawker was put for sale and has being bought by the hispanic Univision. I would hope it becomes a better place, but Univision has already some fame for how they treat everything as racist.
And i’m already hearing the screams of social justice warriors calling me racist for my stereotypical portrayal of…my own race.

Internalized hispanophobia.
If that’s the case I have it too. So much I didn’t even learn the language.
Naga laugh? Pretty dated reference, bro.
Naga is NEVER dated
Heh. I refer to it as a Kodachi Laugh, which probably means I’m WAY older than some of you folks. 😉

Turned 46 this week. 😮
Your bad Spanish isn’t very good. It’s not “Ay, ay, ay, ay / Ay, ay, mi amor”. Growing up as anglophone American children we could all sing a musical phrase from 2 Mexican folk songs. We sang:
Ay, ay, ay, ay,
Oh, my sombrero!
La, la-la, la, la-la, la, la …
and
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
La, la, la-la, la-la-la…
Part of the first semester of Spanish in an American college was teaching us at least one verse of the words to “Cielito Lindo” and the song popular with Pancho Villa’s troops, “La Cucaracha”. Let’s see if I can remember:
El lunar qué tienes, Cielito Lindo,
Junto’a la boca
No se lo des a nadie, Cielito Lindo,
Qui a mí me toca.
Ay, ay, ay, ay!
Canta y no llores.
Porque cantando se alegran, Cielitio Lindo,
Los corazones.
The beauty spot you have, Pretty Heaven,
Next to your mouth,
Don’t give that to anyone, Pretty Heaven,
That I should touch it.
Ay, ay, ay, ay!
Sing and don’t cry.
Because singing, Prettty Heaven,
All hearts beat faster.
(And the dangling participle is in the original.)
The other was:
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar.
Porque no tiene, porque le falta
Marihuana que fumar.
The cockroach, the cockroach
Already can’t walk around
Because it doesn’t have, because to it is lacking
Marijuana to smoke.
The American misspelling with the “J” happened sometime between the 1930s and the 1960s.
It has become an interlingual joke. That is, I was watching a bit of a typical film about teenagers in high school except it was in Mexico. In Mexican slang the kids referred to pot as “Juana”.
i am spanish
But you aren’t Mexican, and as all ‘Muricans know, Mexican Spanish is the Correct™ Spanish. Lol. 😛
