Due to the recent controversy with a fanartist being attacked for a Dream Daddy gender bender, i decided to do a gender bender myself. And my followers were very happy about the idea of a Vivian James gender bender, so i can’t but deliver. How should we name him?

Vinnie James or is that to Italian?
Name-wise: how about James Vivian? Invert the names while we’re at it. I mean, if James worked well enough as a surname and it’s clearly a male given name, might as well mirror that concept.
Controversy-wise: wait a FUCKING SECOND – you’re updating Triggerhappy?! O_O I thought that comic went on hiatus something like a year+ ago. WOO HOOO! Moar Triggerhappy for me to read! *runs off to read everything he’s missed*.
PS: James here looks both adorable and hot in that aloof and somewhat androgynous kind of way. Well done.
? i’ve been consistently publishing triggerhappy
After re-reading all of Triggerhappy, I’ve figured it out (since I was confused about it as well, once you pointed out the regular updates)!
It was an interesting combination of patterns that gave me that impression:
The point I thought was a hiatus was between “Videogames, always videogames” and “Mei’s size” (15-days between the two), however after looking at the dates of previous posts, it’s obvious that’s not the case. However, I think that because I’m used to webcomics that update at least once a week (some of them several times), I had the false impression that two weeks and no updates yet was indicative of a hiatus and just stopped checking in.
Furthermore, I reached that conclusion during a sleepless night, after binge-reading Gamergate Life and Guild Adventures – both of them had already ended by that point. That, to my sleep-addled mind, meant there was a connection to the two weeks of no updates of Triggerhappy.
There’s also the fact you where updating Monster Girls – and it made sense you’re probably just focusing on one comic at a time. In hindsight, obviously not the case, but it’s easy to jump to conclusions when you’re tired and then keep those conclusions later if nothing disproves them (not hard when you’re not looking to disprove them).
I do feel compelled to apologize for getting the wrong impression. So, sorry, didn’t mean to deride your consistency.
Cheers, mate, and thanks again for the great comics!
