It seems it’s true there are things that are cyclical every 100 years or so. Economic collapses, pandemics, and moral panics. And so, at 2020, whatever hobby the puritan activists decide to go into, they get outraged by any sexual depiction, by skirts being too short or boobs being bigger than average, and campaign to install censorship and puritanism. They have become unable to enjoy any media, as every media has something that offends them, and if they’re offended, no one should be able to enjoy it. The anime show Uzaki-chan is just on of the most recent examples of this instance, with a horde of tumblerites raining every kind of accusation from mysoginist to pedophile to whoever likes the show. Not the first, nor will be the last, by any means.
