288. Potoka village
One of the first pages i did when i started Guild adventure about 8 years ago was the Potoka village. Now in 2018 i decided i didn’t suffer enough the first time and have done it a second time, hopefully better. It took me 2 whole days to draw this shit.
Monster girls on tour updates on tuesday and saturday. If you like this comic, you can read the next page before your friends by supporting me on Guild adventure, an already finished comic set in the same world as MGoT.
I’ve several stores with material of my comic, one is my own store where i sell Special adventures of Monster girls on tour, PDF’s with side stories full of humor. Another is my Spreadshirt store, where i sell shirts with my designs, and finally my Redbubble store, where i send prints of many kinds.
To improve my comic, i run several polls, if you want to participate: a populariy poll so you can vote your favourite characters; a poll to introduce new creatures, and a poll to decide the next character to receive an erotic drawing.
Also If you want to know more about the setting of the comic check, i have a wiki section here.
Read all my webcomics.
Me: Toto, I have a feeling where not in Kansas, anymore.
Toto: your right, fam. Where in discount monster hunter. XD
Also: why the fuck did they make it so close to the mountains?
Oh shit, almost forgot.

PERFECTION
Ocean on one side, steep mountains on two sides… Seems pretty good place to put a village, tbh, from a military standpoint.
Though IIRC Potoka was specifically a melting pot/trade port, so it’s probably really good from that perspective too.
Well, mountains sometimes crumble, so if a large piece of the mountain breaks it would crush, either a house or the wall that is protecting them, or maybe even a person.
Never the fucking less, its really fucking cool.
Revisiting Potoka after 8 years. This is Potoka REMASTERED.
HD
It almost looks like a photo, mate. XD
So this is where chapter 6 will play off? Fucking sick. I think chapter 5 will never be beaten, but I insist you to try.
Now I have a very important question:
Persona 5 is now 64% cheaper, should I buy it?
I guess. I prefer the 3rd, but the whole Persona saga is good.
Of course you do, you fucking degenerate.
Also: how many people live in Potoka?
From a military standpoint it’s a horrible location, unless you’re expecting cavalry and naval only threats so you can concentrate fire in a couple directions.
The mountains(as they don’t appear to be sheer cliffs) are a fairly easy and relatively undefended path into the city on the left and right, which is my primary issue while looking at it because large monsters don’t seem to care much about rough terrain and they’re what you’d be worried about in this world usually.
Against personnel, you’d never want to be in a canyon. There’s a reason fortresses have historically trended toward being on tops of mountains rather than at the base and it’s not just because the view is pretty. Having a vantage point on potential threats is invaluable in militaristic engagements and their current set-up is asking to be surrounded and bombarded by threats they wouldn’t be able to defend from. A few guns(or archers probably in this world) on high ground can hold off entire squadrons, the reverse tends not to be true outside very specific situations.
They’re actually only expecting naval threats, but that’s explained on the next pages so i’ll not talk about it.
Tho the reasons why potoka is there were more or less explained in Guild adventure years ago https://www.kukuruyo.com/robukan-geography/
Most sensible answer would be a multi-layered protection, with another walls / watchtowers spanning whole moutain range. As city is also a trading hub, having one easly accesilble side is a nessesity for land bound merchants (and to quickly evacuate if naval threat id too big for city to handle). IF there is a set of walls and keeps on top of these moutains, it would also explain why all walls end next to the mountains. It’s not like you can’t build defences on uneven ground.
It’s also possible that these moutains are REALLY steep, but we see them from wierd perspective, or something,
A leviazan assault would care shit for a tiny wall at the bottom of the mountain
Shouldn’t you draw it next?
Its nice how you can see the city in fine detail.
And those are some big cannons
A consecuence of drawing big tits
You did a great job with D’Zaitan. XD
Quick question: Is slavery a thing in Robukan, like every other monster girl setting?
