i thought the bodies of the minions where just dragged off by felynes (either the local clan or the ones that came along with the hunter) that don’t fight. sort of like the kitty cart, and the big bodies where to just big to move while the hunter was stomping around.
Just imagine being a Felyne attempting move the body of a Cephadrome that got in-between a hunter and their prey while a hunter is after a Diablos, even if the hunter and Diablos are somewhere else you are not going to start the task of getting the body moved around. I will go on and guess that the hunter is awarded a certain # of carves per monster for the kill/cut and the rest belongs to I’m going to say the guild.
Yes, the guild system in MH is not very much expained, i try to give it a little more sense in my comic, i assume they get their money by keeping a % of the money rewards made by the people to hunt monsters, and the parts of the creatures hunted.
