GG Triggerhappy: Teabagging
Recently, some game journalists tried to put in trouble, and even get fired, a game developer because, allegedly, he teabagged a female journalist during a demo. Teabagging is a very old poking practice in competitive games, that consists on making your character sit and get up in the face of enemy players you have killed. It’s basically the “taunt” emote of modern games that was used before there were taunt emotes in games to use.
I must say i’m the type that preemtively mutes every hearthstone match and many League of legends games because i don’t want to hear shit from people if they beat me, but that’s about the whole extent i will do, since the game has tools for me to stop receiving that if i want, and if they’re too toxic or troll the game, i can report them. I myself have used “taunt” emotes many times, in many games, primarely because it makes rivals make mistakes when they try to get back at you instead of fulfilling the mission, but i can get why someone would roll their eyes at watching someone do a taunt. But fucking wanting someone FIRED because you didn’t like he did a taunt in a game? something thats built into the mechanics of most modern online games because of how mild it is? and then act like a fucking mafia “you’ll better be nice to us or you’ll not get coverage”? and people still can’t see we are already at the point gamergate tried to warn about 4 years ago? Gamergate wasn’t about how things were in 2014; it was a raise to defend the medium from the incoming censorship, political injections and corruption from the media. And because it was shuned by a collective false narrative of “harrassment”, we are now at a point where said censorship, corruption, and political injections are rampant and lowering the quality of games by the day. And they wonder why there have been a resurgence of Japanese games…
Also, i find particulary relevant how they have tried so much to point out that the “victim” of the teabagging was a woman. AS IF IT FUCKING MATTERS!. Jeez, i swear, the people who most cry “sexist!” at everything are the most sexist of all. The guy didn’t cared (or even knew) she was a woman and just treated her like he does every other player, but for them this becomes a double terrible the crime because it was done to a woman, and they must think they can’t deal with a teabagging; it’s too traumatic for their inferior, feminine, minds, am i right, fellow game journalists? FFS
Since i didn’t do anything about it, i also add a little reference to the guy condemned to jail for making a joke teaching his dog the nazi salute.

‘Man fired for teabagging a woman’ *takes of headset, jumps out of window* im done with this fucking earth.
Ps: but seriously. If you didnt have links to this shit i would think you make this shit up. Thats how fucking rediculous this is.
Teabagging and having a dog raise it’s paw?
If those are considered to be the worse evils, I guess that means noone will judge the bodies I have in plastic barrels dissolving in lye.
………………….ok
“For you, the day Bison teabagged your face was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.”
11/10 This is delicious.
Not to mention saying “GG” after a game is now offensive…
Saying “GG”, “Good Game”, is now offensive? You’re shitting me, right?
Nope, look it up. Some morons thought it stood for “get good” and went off on a crusade against it.
…and here I’ve been telling everyone it stood for “GamerGate” :p
I’m half expecting one about bully hunters next.
Nah, that died in just a few hours. It would be kind of useless talk about it now XD
“My laundry basket is sexist.”

“Raped”? Wait, I don’t recall Jason, Joker or M Bison ever raping people…
There’s some debate about if Joker raped Batgirl in the Killing Joke. I think he didn’t but afik it has never been clarified.
